Mr. Kristijan Karan is an Attorney at Law based in Novi Sad, Serbia, specializing in International Business Law and Cross-Border Legal Matters, offering comprehensive legal counsel and representation to clients worldwide with specific interests in Serbia.
In addition to native Serbian, Kristijan is fluent in German, English, and Hungarian. This allows him to provide in-depth legal counsel and representation to a diverse range of clients, facilitating clear and effective communication in their preferred language.
On his journey to founding his own law office, Kristijan graduated from the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad with a high-grade point average, completed an internship at the Appellate Court in Novi Sad, gained experience in two prestigious law firms as a legal trainee, passed the bar exam in front of the Provincial Secretariat for Education, Regulations, Administration, passed the lawyers' exam in front of the Vojvodina Bar Association, and became a member of both the Vojvodina Bar Association and the Bar Association of Serbia.
During 2022-2023, Kristijan completed a twelve-month course on German legal terminology and the basics of German legal system (Rechtsterminologiekurs) organized by the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ) in collaboration with the Faculty of Law in Belgrade.
In 2023, Kristijan was invited by the German Federal Bar (BRAK) to participate in a five-week multilateral program for lawyers, where he gathered expertise from a variety of fields, most notably cross-border transactions, international business law, drafting and processing of international business contracts, company acquisition in an international context, etc.

This, coupled with his experience handling cases with cross-border elements, enables him to deliver quality legal services to clients facing complex international legal matters.
